Account Deletion Request

1. General Information

This page explains how to request deletion of your Sudoku Together account and related data.

After you confirm your deletion request, deletion does not happen immediately: a 7-day cancellation (waiting) period begins.

During these 7 days, you can log in again to cancel your account deletion request.

If not cancelled, your account will be deleted after 7 days and the data listed below will be deleted or anonymized.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

From the app (recommended)

Go to Profile → tap the “Delete Account” button.
Confirm the deletion request in the modal.
After confirmation, you will be redirected to the home screen and the 7-day cancellation period will start.

Via email (if you can’t access your account)

Email: sudokutogether@gmail.com
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Body: your account email (if any), your username, and your request (reason optional).

3. Data That Will Be Deleted

Account details (email, username, and profile data)
Game history, scores, statistics, and match/lobby records
Push notification token (if any)

4. Data That May Be Retained

Server logs for security and abuse prevention (e.g., IP/request logs) may be retained for up to 30 days.
Records required for legal compliance (if applicable) may be retained for the periods required by law.

5. Cancellation Period & Additional Retention Notes

After you confirm your deletion request, a 7-day cancellation (waiting) period begins. During this time, you can log in again to cancel the deletion request.

If the request is not cancelled after 7 days, deletion will be completed automatically.

Due to backup systems, even after your deletion request is processed, it may take up to 30 days to fully remove certain data from backups.

For guest usage, local data stored on your device can be removed by uninstalling the app or clearing your device’s data.
